I personally use Windows XP 32 and have compiled a custom driver package from different sources which works good for me, e. Just follow the linkssy and it will enable the USB adapter. Run it Options and check winxows 1st three choices to see if any are there. I have downloaded the latest driver on the Linksys support page that says it is fully compatible with Windows 7 64bit. Alternatively you can download the setup wizard on the same page and it will guide you through the installation.
I have searched the support forums for both Windows and Linksys, and some people have had luck, and others haven’t. References to Vista also apply to Windows 7.
However, I made sure to change the compatibility of the os to Windows Vista before running to ensure proper installation.
I am trying to connect to my Linksys WRT54G Router that has the latest firmware and has other wireless cksco connected to it with no problems.

I found the drivers on my computer and uploaded them again, this time to five new locations. Dont use the setup. I couldn’t find any other solution – and Linksys flat out said this is not supported, and the driver has been removed due to them not agreeing with GPL.
